What we store, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
Who is responsible
The controller for this website and the QA Scout backend is the operator of scoutassurance.com. Contact: qascoutsecurity@gmail.com or Telegram @asxyw.
This website
The public site is an early-access form. It does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. A hidden field on the form is only a spam trap: if it is filled, we discard the request and do not save it.
If you submit the form, we store:
- name or alias
- email address
- what you wrote under “what do you need it for”
- the IP address of the request (abuse and repeat-submit limits)
- status: pending, approved, or declined, with the time of that decision
We use that to decide whether to grant free beta access (currently 30 days, 20 runs/month), to email you the result, and to block a declined email for 14 days.
Email and Telegram
Outbound mail is sent with Resend (HTTPS), from QA Scout <noreply@scoutassurance.com>, to the address you typed. That mail can include a login and a one-time password if we approve you.
Named operators see the same request in Telegram (name, email, purpose) so they can approve or decline. We do not use your request for advertising.
If we create a login
On our server we then store:
- username and a password hash (not the password in plain text)
- license limits (runs left, expiry, device-slot limit)
- a hash of the device id (HWID) after you activate the app — not the raw id
The desktop app talks to https://scoutassurance.com for login, trial, and run credits. Crawl pages, screenshots, and PDFs stay on your Mac. We do not receive that evidence through this form.
A 3-run trial is tied to that device hash. A new login does not grant another trial on the same computer.
Where it is hosted
The site and database run on a virtual server we rent. Outbound email goes through Resend. Operator alerts go through Telegram. Resend and Telegram may process data outside the EU. We use them only to send your decision or to operate the inbox.
How long
- Open requests: until we approve or decline.
- Declined email: 14 days, so we can refuse a repeat ask.
- Approved account and HWID hash: until you ask us to delete it, or we revoke the login.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy, a correction, or deletion of your request and account. Write to qascoutsecurity@gmail.com or Telegram @asxyw. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Germany: a Landesdatenschutzbehörde / BfDI).

Die öffentliche Seite ist ein Formular für Early Access. Eigene Werbe- oder Analyse-Cookies setzen wir nicht. Ein verstecktes Feld ist nur eine Spam-Falle: Wird es ausgefüllt, verwerfen wir die Anfrage und speichern sie nicht.
Beim Absenden speichern wir:
- Name oder Alias
- E-Mail-Adresse
- den Text unter „What do you need it for“
- die IP-Adresse (Missbrauch und Wiederholungen)
- Status: offen, angenommen oder abgelehnt, mit Zeitpunkt
Das dient der Entscheidung über kostenlosen Beta-Zugang (derzeit 30 Tage, 20 Läufe/Monat), der E-Mail mit dem Ergebnis und einer 14-tägigen Sperre nach einer Absage.
E-Mail und Telegram
Ausgangspost geht über Resend (HTTPS), Absender QA Scout <noreply@scoutassurance.com>, an die angegebene Adresse. Bei Zusage kann die Mail Login und einmaliges Passwort enthalten.
Benannte Operatoren sehen dieselbe Anfrage in Telegram (Name, E-Mail, Zweck), um zuzusagen oder abzulehnen. Die Anfrage nutzen wir nicht für Werbung.
Wenn ein Login entsteht
Auf unserem Server liegen dann:
- Benutzername und Passwort-Hash (kein Klartext-Passwort)
- Lizenzgrenzen (Restläufe, Ablauf, Geräte-Slots)
- ein Hash der Geräte-ID (HWID) nach der Aktivierung der App — nicht die Roh-ID
Die Desktop-App spricht mit https://scoutassurance.com für Login, Trial und Lauf-Guthaben. Crawl, Screenshots und PDFs bleiben auf eurem Mac. Über dieses Formular bekommen wir diese Nachweise nicht.
Ein Trial mit 3 Läufen hängt an diesem Geräte-Hash. Ein neues Konto gibt auf demselben Rechner keinen zweiten Trial.
Wo das liegt
Website und Datenbank laufen auf einem gemieteten Server. Ausgangspost geht über Resend. Hinweise an Operatoren über Telegram. Resend und Telegram können Daten außerhalb der EU verarbeiten. Wir nutzen sie nur für eure Rückmeldung bzw. den Posteingang.
Speicherdauer
- Offene Anfragen: bis zur Zusage oder Absage.
- Abgelehnte E-Mail: 14 Tage, damit eine Wiederholung gesperrt bleibt.
- Konto und HWID-Hash: bis ihr Löschung verlangt oder wir den Login sperren.

Auskunft, Berichtigung und Löschung von Anfrage und Konto: qascoutsecurity@gmail.com oder Telegram @asxyw. Beschwerde ist bei der zuständigen Datenschutzbehörde möglich (in Deutschland: Landesdatenschutzbehörde / BfDI).
