Website QA audits

Find what breaks
before your
customers do.

Broken checkouts, dead forms and jammed journeys — caught in a real browser, checked by a person, delivered as a QA report your developer can fix. Not a scanner score.

  • Human-reviewed
  • Two business days
  • Refund if we can’t complete

Same $199 audit. Write here, or email and Telegram — we reply from support@scoutassurance.com. Operated from Berlin, serving clients in the United States.

Why $199

One broken checkout can cost more than the audit.

Scout is not a website score. It finds the things that stop a purchase, a signup or a message from going through — with evidence a developer can actually fix.

  1. 01Issue found

    A real visitor flow breaks.

  2. 02Evidence

    URL, screenshot, what happened.

  3. 03Impact

    Ranked high, medium or low.

  4. 04Exact fix

A ticket your developer can close.

For business owners

Stop losing customers in silence.

A form that never sends, a checkout that dies on mobile, a link that 404s — Scout shows you that before your customers bounce.

For agencies

QA the site before you hand it over.

A human-reviewed report plus a developer zip. The pack is for the owner to read and for the engineer to fix — you are not buying another scanner login.

Live demo

See Scout in action.

Paste a public URL you own. This is a fast proof — one browser, a handful of pages. The paid audit is a different job: broader crawl, filled forms, human review, developer pack.

Live demo ≠ $199 audit. One Chromium, public pages only, nobody reviewing it.See a real sample report

3 demos per network per day. One Chromium at a time on this box. Login, checkout, and CAPTCHA are out of scope. Notes stay about 5 minutes, then they are wiped.

Live progress

Ready

One Chromium on this box, so demos run one at a time. Each run is about a minute. Slot is free.

Automated detection. Human verification.

More than just broken links.

Seven kinds of behaviour on your live site. Findings are grouped — product/UX to fix, SEO warnings, hardening notes — so the same class of break is one job, not a dump per page.

01

Sitemap URLs. Then the templates that matter.

Up to 2,500 sitemap URLs are checked over HTTP. Chromium then opens the live templates a customer actually uses — home, product, pricing, forms, sign-in, checkout — desktop and mobile.

02

Forms filled the way people fill them.

Fields receive realistic data, validation rules are pushed to their edges, and submissions are followed through to the response.

03

Journeys, not isolated pages.

Multi-step paths are followed end to end — search to product, product to cart, cart to confirmation — so breakages between pages surface too.

04

Small screens, held to the same standard.

Layouts, tap targets and overflow are verified on real mobile viewports, not simulated by resizing a desktop window.

05

Speed, measured where it matters.

Load behaviour, heavy assets and slow responses are measured on the templates your customers actually land on.

06

Accessibility and SEO, reviewed together.

Contrast, labels, focus order, heading structure, metadata and indexability are assessed as one picture rather than separate audits.

07

Behind the sign-in, with your permission.

Given test credentials, Scout exercises account areas, carts and checkout paths — then the credentials are deleted with the audit.

The report

This is what
your report looks like.

Ranked, grouped, evidenced. The card below is the layout. The live sample is Scout run on this site after a human pass — not the URL from the demo above.

  • high Blocks a customer action
  • medium Breaks an important flow or creates friction
  • low Polish, accessibility or SEO
example pack · not a client siteGrouped findings · layout only

templatesOpened in Chromium
3Groups in the pack
1Ticket per class of break
high

Checkout fails when the discount field is empty

Submitting the payment step returns a 500 error on mobile Safari, blocking every order.

high

Sign-in loops back to the login page

After a valid login the session cookie is dropped, returning the customer to the form.

medium

Contact form accepts invalid email addresses

Client-side validation passes values without a domain; submissions arrive unreachable.

medium

14 internal links return 404

Mostly in the resources section, following a URL structure change in the blog.

low

Insufficient contrast on secondary buttons

Grey on pale grey measures 3.1:1, below the WCAG AA requirement of 4.5:1.

How it works

Three steps. Nothing to set up.

  1. STEP 01

    Send your website

The live URL, and test credentials only if you want account or checkout paths covered. We confirm we can reach it, then invoice. Nothing to install.

  2. STEP 02

Scout tests it, then a human checks

Chromium walks live templates. Sitemap HTTP covers up to 2,500 listed URLs. A person reviews, then findings are grouped so you fix a class of break once.

  3. STEP 03

    You get the QA pack

Owner PDF, screenshots, and developer tickets with URL, severity and a concrete fix — within two business days.

Invoice after we confirm we can reach the site — Wise, bank, or PayPal. If we still cannot complete a full audit on our side, you get $199 back. Refund terms

The audit

One audit. One price.

$199

Per website. A real crawl plus a human review, then the report your team can act on. No subscription, no seats, no renewal.

Buy full audit · $199

Full refund if we cannot complete the audit on our side — a wall we cannot get past, a crawl that is not a real sample, or we miss delivery. How refunds work

Scout tests from the outside. Anything only reachable with credentials we are not given stays untested — that is still a complete public audit, not a refund.

Five sites for an agency is $749 — same refund rule per site we cannot complete. An extra retest after the included 30 days is $79.

Bootstrapped or early-stage? You can request a lower rate for the first audit — email us with the URL. We decide case by case. $199 stays the public price.

What you receive

  • Owner PDF: what to fix first, ranked, with proof
  • Developer tickets: URL, screenshot, severity, a concrete fix
  • Live browser pass on the templates that matter, plus sitemap HTTP on listed URLs
  • A person reviews before anything goes to you
  • One free retest within 30 days after you ship fixes

Fix it. Then prove it is fixed. The included retest compares the new run to the original report: fixed, still failing, and new.

How we work

Not another website score.

Most audit tools give you a number. Scout gives you the problem, the proof, and a human check so we are not dumping fifty automated warnings on you.

  • Real browser

Scout clicks, fills and navigates like a visitor. Nothing to install on your site.

  • Human review

Automated detection, then a person confirms what belongs in the owner report.

  • Evidence, not a grade

No 82/100. Findings with URLs, screenshots and a concrete fix.

  • Refund if we can’t finish

A wall, a thin sample, or a miss on our side is not billed as a full audit. Refund terms

  • Independent studio

Not a scanner SaaS. No personal name on this site; invoices can show the legal operator. About Scout

  • Client packs stay private

We do not publish reports from paid audits. The public sample is Scout run on this site.

Demo captures are deleted when the job ends. We do not use your website data for advertising or training. Read the privacy policy

FAQ

Questions, answered.

You receive the pack within two business days of a confirmed order. The free demo on this page is a short live slice, not the full audit.

No. Scout tests your live website from the outside, exactly like a customer would. There is no script, plugin or code change.

Yes. The owner PDF is grouped: product/UX to fix first, SEO warnings, hardening notes. The developer zip has tickets with URL, severity, evidence and a concrete fix — same class of break together, not a screenshot dump.

Up to 2,500 sitemap URLs checked over HTTP (status only). Chromium then walks the templates that matter — home, product, pricing, forms, sign-in, checkout — desktop and mobile. You can name extra URLs. That is not “every URL opened in a browser”.

Yes. Provide test credentials for a non-production account and Scout will exercise account areas, carts and checkout. Credentials are used only for the audit and deleted afterwards.

A bot wall, CAPTCHA wall or a thin sample is not a full audit. If we already took $199, you get it back. Login-only areas you did not give credentials for stay untested — that is still a complete public audit, not a refund.

As a shareable web report and a PDF, plus a developer zip, within two business days. Every finding includes severity, affected pages, evidence and a concrete fix.

One free retest is included within 30 days, so you can confirm the fixes actually landed. It compares against the original report rather than pretending the web was recrawled from scratch.

No. Paid audit packs stay with the client. The only public sample is Scout run on scoutassurance.com. We are not allowed to post other people’s findings.

Send the URL on the contact form or email support@scoutassurance.com. We confirm we can reach a public surface, then send a $199 invoice (Wise, bank transfer or PayPal). Work starts when it is paid. No subscription, no seats, no renewal.

Sometimes. If you are a bootstrapped founder with a small site still in development, email support@scoutassurance.com with the URL and a line about the project. We decide case by case — typically $99–$129 for the first audit, not a listed price. The public rate stays $199.

Yes. If we cannot complete a genuine full audit — a wall we cannot get past, a crawl that is not a real sample, or we miss the two-business-day window and you cancel — you get $199 back. Disagreeing with findings, or a site that held, is a report (and the free retest), not a refund.
